Meet June! June is a 4-year-old tri-pawed kitty who walks to the beat of her own drum. 

She loves to look out the window and tuck herself into bed. 

Her human mama, Neil, tells us all about her in her own words below!

Love at First Sight

I wasn’t even planning on going home with a kitten when I went to the shelter that day.

I was having a bad week and wanted to go see some kittens and puppies.

Then, I saw her little face and those big eyes and my heart just melted.

I had to take her home with me.

They told me she was found in a dumpster with part of her leg missing, so they had to amputated it.

I couldn’t believe that anyone could have neglected her like this, and I wanted to give her the best home forever.

What’s June’s Personality Like?

June likes to keep it pretty low key, and everything is on her own terms.

She’ll let me know she wants to be pet by walking up to my feet and meowing while she looks at me. 

She’s missing her front left paw, but she still loves to make biscuits on the blankets.

You’d think it would be more difficult, but she can bake with the best of them!

Nothing can stop her once she sets her mind to something.

On the odd occasion she gets the zoomies, she likes to show off and will look back to make sure I can see her running and jumping around.

What are Some of June’s Favorite Things?

June loves to snuggle.

Sometimes, she’ll even crawl into bed with me and tuck herself in!

One of her other favorite things is to explore the cabinets in the kitchen.

At first, I had to open the cabinet doors for her.

But, now, she has learned to open them herself.

I actually have trouble keeping her out of them sometimes.

When she’s not trying to snuggle or play in the cabinets, she loves to look out the window.

I’ll be in the backyard gardening or something, and I’ll see her cute little face just staring out at me from the window.

Happily Ever After

I’m so happy I walked into the shelter that day and saw her.

Ever morning I wake up and feel so lucky that I get to have June as a best friend.

We have so much fun together playing, snuggling, and looking out the window.

My life is so much more full with little June Bug around.
